Road To Tokyo (2016)

For its 30 years of presence in Japan, Diesel threw a smashing branded experience-turned fashion show-turned party in the heart of Tokyo. To amplify the celebration and the strong bond between Diesel and Japan, the show was promoted and live streamed globally, in a buildup culminating with a short film that opened the event.

The film narrates a model’s dazzling journey through Tokyo’s nightlife in first person (Hardcore Henry meets Enter The Void), and in its original run would feature clickable hotspots to save the featured products in a whislist. It premiered as an intro to the live footage of the fashion show, also partially shot in first person, with a model walking the runway in the futuristic yet cumbersome camera helmet to give an illusion of continuity.
